Email: mail@allsaintsnorthampton.co.uk    website: www.allsaintsnorthampton.co.uk   There has been a church on the site of All Saints' since Norman times. The church we see today is that built after the Great Fire of Northampton in 1675.  The Portico design is a copy of the Inigo Jones portico of Old St. Pauls, London. The statue of King Charles II adorns the parapet. The Memorial, or Lady Chapel was the last substantial addition to the building, added in the 1920s in memory of those who lost their lives in the World War I.  Choirs comprise a boys' choir, a separate girls' choir, eight choral scholars and twelve lay clerks. The choirs sing for the Eucharist and Evensong each Sunday and for Evening Prayer on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at six o'clock.

Email: vicar@stmatthews-northampton.org.uk   or   office@stmatthews-northampton.org.uk    Website: www.stmatthews-northampton.org.uk   The building was designed by a local architect, Matthew Henry Holding (1846-1910) in 13th century Gothic style. The font, pulpit, high altar, and reredos are all composed mostly of polished marble and alabaster. The many fine art works include the Madonna & Child by Henry Moore. For over one hundred years St Matthew's Church has been a focus of worship and prayer, with daily services and this pattern continues today. It is perhaps one of the most famous Churches in the country because of its longstanding choral tradition.

Many features  of this church, set in Abington Park, date from the 13th century, although it also contains gothic and Romanesque architecture. Additions, repairs  and alterations to the building have continued through the centuries. Like many Anglican churches in Northampton, the church is of the high Anglican tradition and attracts sizeable congregations.
